Cycling for Ukraine
We are launching the #cyclingforukraine initiative
The events unfolding in Ukraine have deeply affected many of us cyclists. Many of you want to work towards peace. As a sign of solidarity, we are creating the #cyclingforukraine event.
The aim of this event is to show support for an end to the war and lasting peace, and to raise funds to support Ukrainians in their basic survival needs.
By registering for this event, we invite you to ride using the hashtag #cyclingforukraine on various social media platforms (including Strava) and take on the challenge of covering 2,440 km, the distance between Paris and Kyiv. Your registration includes a jersey in the colors of Ukraine, which will be sent to you and which you can wear on your rides as a symbol of promoting peace. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to two NGOs working in Ukraine: UNICEF and Secours Catholique (Catholic Relief Services).
